Formado por músicos …con una amplia formación clásica, el CHAO Quartet nace en Suiza en el 2021. El grupo interpreta composiciones del rico repertorio popular latinoamericano, con arreglos donde se mezcla el virtuosismo con la sensibilidad y el amor a sus raíces. En esa fusión original de Clásico con Folclore, la música colombiana ocupa un lugar especial en el catálogo del CHAO, ya que son tres músicos colombianos y un músico mexicano quienes lo conforman . A los instrumentos de base – piano, violín, flauta y violonchelo – se añaden las voces y otros instrumentos, en función de la imaginación del arreglo y de la pasión del momento.
Déjense llevar por la magia colorida y contagiosa del CHAO Quartet, y ¡ que empiece el viaje !


Constitué de musiciens de formation classique, le CHAO Quartet est né en Suisse en 2021. Le groupe interprète des pièces issues du riche répertoire populaire latino-américain, à travers des arrangements qui mêlent virtuosité, sensibilité et amour de ses racines. Dans la fusion originale de musique classique et folklorique proposée par le CHAO, la musique colombienne occupe une place de choix, puisqu’il s’agit du fruit de l’heureuse rencontre entre trois musiciens colombiens et un musicien mexicain. Aux instruments de prédilection – piano, violon, flûte et violoncelle – viennent s’ajouter voix et autres instruments, au gré de la passion de l’instant et de l’arrangement imaginé par les complices.
